As an AdvisorScholar Intern with Barnum Financial Group, I had the opportunity to shadow and learn from a mentor about the financial advising industry and Barnum as a company. Among the tasks that I performed were:- Creating a mock financial plan for a family along with a presentation and sales pitch- Shadowing advisor dialing and the pursuit of hot leads for new clients- Shadowing client meetings to discuss new business opportunities- Creating a "Shark Tank" project for Barnum to improve the company via the introduction of a new winter internship program - Attending a multitude of informative presentations and meetings regarding financial planning and advising, protection strategies, and the process of becoming a financial advisor

As part of the Summer Growth Experience at Pfizer, I worked alongside policy advisors and lawyers to assist with research of state and federal campaign finance laws, policy research, and policy updates

Facilitator for the Men’s Project- a project run through the Student Union and cultural centers which focuses on educating on and discussing the various intersections of gender with identity, perspective, action, thoughts, stigma, and feelings. This group is centered on community engagement and voluntary participation. The hope of this group is to encourage leadership and accountability of the male identifying population. This is done through providing a holistic evaluation and education of the topic to support the creation and continuation of conversations relevant to gender and its many intersectional pieces. Recruitment of members and awareness of group is done by facilitators. Beginning this year, there will be a more bridged collaboration with the Greeks Against Sexual Assault (GASA) group which is ran simultaneously with this group.

Worked as a camp counselor for the duration of the summer taking care of children aged 5-12. Led a group of 15 children (ages varied weekly) with a coworker or two coworkers and designed activities and games to entertain the campers throughout the duration of the day. Communicated and collaborated effectively with parents, staff, and campers to create a healthy and fun environment for all those involved.

Examined political science data including voting records, voter demographics, candidate selection and nomination, and overall voter shifts in Georgia. Compiled cohesive data sheets with this information on Google Sheets.
