My core values are: Learning, Authenticity, Empathy, and interConnection.Learning means to always be curious and open to making mistakes. I can never settle in the same niche forever, but I'll always have my common threads. From leafletting in the city, to sitting on boards speaking about my mental health, to learning about how psychedelic-assisted therapy has its place, my learning endeavours are varied and ever in flux.Authenticity means to be not mask the core features of myself. Sometimes I'm so quiet people have forgotten I'm there, sometimes I can't sit still and need to fidget with something. I've learnt that if I can't be myself, I can't stick around for long. It's important that people see that for my own sake, and for the sake of others who might be hiding parts of themselves.Empathy means not being a stranger to emotion. We may not have the same history, but the intensity of the highs and lows are nigh identical. While we may not agree, if we can understand where the other is coming from, only then can we have a real conversation. And if we do agree, well, it's sure to be a memorable experience!Excuse the odd capitalisation of interConnection. This value used to just be Connection but as I had more experiences, I started to realise it wasn't quite right. InterConnection means to be aware of how different experiences and parts of me interact and influence one another. It means to always be in conversation with myself and to never forget the journey I took to get here, whether its mental health or the clothes that I like.If you read to here and you're not already in my network, send me a message - you're exactly the kind of person I want to learn from 😊
