Responsible for the preparation and analysis of (i) Real Estate Equity (REE) and Enterprise Community Asset Management (ECAM) operating results for financial reporting in accordance with U.S GAAP (or other basis of reporting, e.g. tax basis, as necessary) to management, investors, and regulatory agencies; (ii) budgeting, forecasting, and modeling; and (iii) maintaining professional relationships and communication with internal stakeholders, investors, partners, third-parties, auditors, and regulatory agencies

Manage the financial and managerial accounting for a portfolio of 30+ Class A commercial real estate properties in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, consisting of approximately 145 leases and 2.9 million SF. This entails evaluating the terms and conditions of tenant leases and partnership agreements to prepare financial statements which fairly present the financial conditions and operating results in accordance with U.S. GAAP (primarily ASC 842 Leases) and preparing budgets, reforecasts, projections, and analysis of NOI as a basis for making operating decisions and managing cash flowIdentify and evaluate non-standard lease provisions and potential impact to the Company’s rights and obligations and accountingActively engage with other departments including leasing administration, property management, asset management, FP&A, legal, corporate, and development accounting, providing and requesting information and analysis to ensure complete and accurate operating and financial results of the portfolioDesign, implement, and monitor internal controls over financial reportingPerform variance analysis between actuals-to-budget and budget-to-budget for executive managementManage relationships and responses to billing and other inquiries with tenants and third-party lease administratorsLead monthly review meetings of the portfolio’s operating results and forecasts with property management teamsSupervise property accountant, reviewing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and updates to budget reforecasts; provide guidance and encourage development
