Role: Working primarily within the science department delivering lessons across all the sciences. As interim laboratory technician, responsible for the setting up and cataloguing of the science department laboratories. Secondary roles of swimming teacher and assistant house parent. It has been an invaluable experience working in Malaysia. Working in foreign setting, with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. Achievements: I successfully coordinated with WWF Malaysia to install the eco-schools programme, and established an eco-committee and assisted in the implementation of various sustainability initiatives.

Role : In a more senior role, my responsibilities included organising all activates on camp. This included ensuring all relevant risk assessments, COSHH forms, maintenance records were up to date. I carried out staff training on a regular basis, including health and safety and specialist training for activities such as archery, motor sports and inflatables training. As a member of the leadership team on camp, I was tasked with communicating effectively with head office when necessary, for example in the acquisition of specialist equipment for some sessions.Skills Gained : Teamwork within a senior leadership team, and the ability to work effectively with all camp staff to provide an effectively run activity camp.
