Competent, Innovative, and Focused on ResultsI believe in working hard and being accountable for what I do, whether at school, as a developer, or in my personal life.In my current role as a Salesforce Developer at Qualtrics, where my wide range of experience in global and finance operations helps me to understand the requests made by our stakeholders and deliver on them quickly and effectively.-> Neurodiversity is a Strength- Since my ADHD diagnosis in 2019, I have educated myself as much as I can about neurodiversity.This has allowed me to craft innovative solutions to the unique challenges that come with the diagnosis as well as fully take advantage of the situations where it grants me an upper hand.For this reason, my methods may look different from those around me, but everything I do, I do with the confidence that comes from hours and hours of working to understand my brain and how I can be most productive.Aside from implementing these findings in my own life, I have hosted trainings in multiple organizations across Qualtrics, with friends, family, and church groups, and most recently, with several middle school classes.Educating others drives me; seeing people realize that they are hardworking, they are intelligent, and they are good enough is what keeps me going.-> UX as a Primary Objective- I strive to see a project from the perspective of the end user from the very beginning.User stories form the blueprints of my work.-> Test-Driven Design- All of my projects are done with testing in mind - I have learned that I can either spend an hour designing a project, or three hours debugging once I've finished making a mess of it.All of my projects are born on paper, and only once I have identified tests that cover all of my user stories do I start writing code.This may seem to take longer than another developer, but it provides a distinct advantage in that the majority of the time, I only need to write something once.
