  Founder of the Cosmute Puppets, a stage and screen organisation making puppet characters and sets from as many re-purposed materials as possible. Cosmute specialise in making unwanted soft toys into puppets and their productions often have an environmental or charitable theme to them, with videos including "Material Bird" and upcoming online productions "One Planet Future" (originally written for World Wildlife Fund [WWF]) and "Duck Whittington," a fundraiser for the Whittington Hospital. Cosmute also developed the Wild Earth Suit from camouflage gear worn by the puppeteers in One Planet Future. Also made from as much re-purposed material as possible, these are a treat fashion accessory and stage costume. Effectively a onesie or jumpsuit, many have hoods and their pattern combines army camouflage patterns with natural images such as flowers, birds, butterflies, etc. blending a gritty, army look with a grungy "flower fairy" feel. Though most characters are animals or humans, Cosmute can make puppets in almost any form; recent stranger examples include oil (in or out of a can), singing fast food items, a laptop computer, an interactive singing fish toy and a talking bicycle!
