From 2016 to 2020 I had been working in a specially designated position within the Air Force Materiel Command’s war ready material reserve which provided extensive experience with management at all levels, ranging from a crew lead up to coordinating and supervising multiple projects at a time. My work consisted of directing work crews to ensure maintenance deadlines are achieved for $85 million worth of Air Force ready materials. This position engages skills such as managing manpower, time, and resources, and communicating estimated completion goals to my superiors. I was also a safety representative responsible for safeguarding 240 personnel and $260 million of assets. This safety representative position required my assurance of OSHA safety standards through the means of conducting workplace inspections, job hazard assessments, and processing mishap reports. I worked directly with the commander for this program, to present findings and discuss proposed actions for correction. Over the years I had accrued several accolades. The most notably being Airman of the Year (2019), Airman of the Quarter (2019), Air Force Commendation Medal (2020), and two Air Force Achievement Medals (2018). The awards embody what others see as my strongest skills; leadership, program management, dedication, a strong work ethic, and desire to excel.
