With over 7 years of dedicated service at Dolby Laboratories, I've had the privilege of being at the forefront of innovation in music technology. As the UK's first Atmos Music engineer, I've collaborated with renowned dance labels and producers from 2016 to 2019, including Hospital Records, Anjuna Beats, and Mau5trap. Together, we pioneered immersive music DJ sets at premier venues worldwide, pushing the boundaries of live sound experiences.During this time, I had the honor of engineering sessions for Max Cooper's seminal "Emergence" album in 2017, setting a precedent for excellence in immersive audio production. Expanding my horizons beyond the dance genre, I've worked alongside esteemed producers like Craig Leon and Steven Wilson on projects. Notably, I contributed to the remastering of the iconic self-titled Ramones album into Dolby Atmos, a collaboration with Craig Leon, and played a pivotal role in Steven Wilson's "The Future Bites" (2019), nominated as the Best Immersive Album of the Year, Steven and I sharing the Grammy Nomination credit.Throughout the challenges presented by the pandemic, I seamlessly transitioned to a hybrid workflow, balancing remote mixing with occasional studio sessions. This period saw me lending my expertise to a diverse array of projects, including the debut album "One Foot In Front of The Other" by Griff, Jack Harlow's chart-topping "That's What They All Say," and Kodak Black's EP "Feelin Peachy." Additionally, I collaborated with the legendary Brian Eno on the engineering of the theatrical and home mix for "Brian & Roger Eno: Live at the Acropolis, Athens," showcasing my versatility across various music genres and formats. More recent projects include the Dolby Atmos version of Jungle's "Loving in Stereo," contributing to its theatrical release, and collaborating with SBTRKT on the Atmos version of his latest release, "The Rat Road" and Bruno Major on the Atmos version of his latest release "Columbo". Venturing beyond the confines of Dolby Laboratories, I am excited to embark on new musical endeavors, collaborating with talented artists and engineers to create unforgettable sonic experiences.
