• Responsible for leading and developing a group of engineers who can independently operate equipment and provide engineering support to both formulation development and GMP production teams. • Function as the point person for scheduling and organizing work for the entire process engineering team.• Proactively identify and lead improvement efforts to a create a safer work environment and improve current practices either in development or GMP. • Attend recurring scheduling/planning meetings to provide input and quickly react to shifting schedules and priorities.• Design, complete, and/oversee multiple experiments/projects in parallel. • Recognized expert in making formulation, equipment, and program recommendations. As well as interpreting data, solving complex problems, and scale-up.

• Oversee all spray drying operations coming into CSD.• Responsible for oral dosage formulation development, process scale up, and technology transfer from R&D to GMP manufacturing, specializing in spray drying • Optimization, troubleshooting, and scale-up of demonstration batches and GMP manufacturing productions. • Generate and revise equipment SOPs and manufacturing batch records. • CAPA and root cause analysis. • Experimental design and execution of DOEs in order to improve pharmaceutical manufacturing processes

• Lead process engineer for spray drying projects.• Independently design and execution of pharmaceutical demo batches.• Perform FMEA risk assessments and process evaluation for demonstration batch productions prior to cGMP manufacturing. • Prepare reports, summaries, procedures, SOPs, and technology transfer documentation.• Technical review and signoff of cGMP manufacturing batch records.• Regular client interaction and extensive interdepartmental interaction.• Supervise an intern.• Support complex cGMP productions to ensure successful productions.
