• Execute comprehensive monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts within the group.• Strategically identify and rectify discrepancies to minimize outstanding entries and maintain financial accuracy.• Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, adhering to regulatory standards and internal controls.• Provide vital support during the year-end close process, assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.• Prepare comprehensive audit files in advance of external audits, ensuring all documentation is organized and readily accessible.• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and documentation, ensuring efficient resolution of audit-related issues.

• Setting up and processing sales and purchase ledgers/invoices using Sage50, Quickbooks and Xero.• Entering supplier payment and customer receipts.• Performing bank reconciliations.• Preparing, reconciling, and submitting VAT return to HMRC.• Processing payroll, generating pay slips and P45&P46 forms.• Monthly journal Accruals, Prepayments, Depreciation, and other control accounts.
