I received my bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Oregon State University. I have over 10 continuous years of professional engineering experience. During that time I've found myself to be project oriented and able to take on large, difficult projects while still delivering results on a timeline. Currently, I am employed at SpaceX working on the Starlink satellite project as a gateway engineer. The primary goal of my job is to maintain all the antennas in a given region to maximize our internet coverage to our customers. While the job is primarily technical (electrical, mechanical, RF,...) there are also many other sides like logistics, import/export, vendor relations, etc that make a well rounded knowledge base critical to the job. Over the past few years, my projects have also come to include software development. The group I work in is small but our responsibilities are global. By creating targeted solutions to many of the teams task I have been able to increase team productivity while reducing the need for further head count. I have primarily used languages like python and C++. I have also learned other proprietary languages built in house.While studying for my EECS degree, I was working at Tektronix in their waveform generator group. I would work for the company part time during the school year and then full time during the summers. I started my career as a user experience tester. I wrote software for verifying user interfaces. Later I moved into PCB design and FPGA/CPLD work. At the end of my time at Tektronix I presented the prototype I had been working on for 3 years. It was a new product line to the entire company, that was a realtime signal processor tying multiple Tektronix products together into a signals analysis package.I am open to knew opportunities.
