During my time at schoolGrid i was part of the development team. I was given a project that was just an idea that was requested to the company by one of the company's clients. This use case was given to me to investigate and create a Proof of concept to make sure that this functionality could actually work and be viable to the company and also the clients. I was given basic functionalities that the client had detailed to the company. This allowed me to understand the needs and requirements that the program had to have in order to work accurately. The program was created using .net6.0 C-sharp, Entity framework, Azure functions, Git, Postman. All of these technologies were used in an agile methodology approach to complete the POC and also the project during the refinement process. I also worked in a Scrum environment which made me understand what my sprint goal and what i have to achieve in the time frame that was given to me for each task. The project was a success and was about to be realised into their production environment, but I never actually managed to successfully complete this task and see it through its whole software development life cycle because SchoolGrid made me redundant.
