As General Counsel, I am responsible for all aspects of legal and compliance for Apexon, a digital-first technology services firm backed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Everstone Capital.Significant wins in areas of responsibility include:- Overhauling contracting process, including creation/revision of contract templates, automation of routine functions, implementation of contract management tools, streamlining negotiation strategy- Successful and efficient resolution of multiple litigation and other disputes, resulting both in significant savings and recognized revenue for the company.- Creation and implementation of critical compliance, ethics, privacy, and data governance policies and procedures - Daily strategic human resources counseling and problem solving; draft and assist in implement HR policies and procedures- Successfully execute corporate and entity creation, restructure, and consolidation in multiple jurisdictions- Counsel and advise the Board of Directors and executive team- Co-Chair and Executive Sponsor of Women at Apexon

- Global head of litigation and employment legal functions at a $4B+ technology company – member of legal leadership team - Develop and execute strategic roadmap for litigation and employment functions, including implementation of numerous policy, process, and compliance improvements - Successfully, creatively, and efficiently resolve multiple commercial, intellectual property, employment, privacy, and class-action disputes, resulting in millions of dollars in savings to the company- Advise or and manage global internal investigations; provide strategic and day-to-day employment labor and employment advice in North America, Europe, Asia, and LatAm- Board Member of Align Foundation (Align's charitable organization)

- First full-time litigation and risk management counsel for $15B+ information technology company- Establish and grow litigation practice through sweat equity, implementation of best practices, building credibility with business clients, strategic hires and cross functional cooperation with legal and business colleagues- Oversee four complete trial victories (against no losses), including a historic $855M jury verdict in Cognizant’s favor in a trade secret and copyright infringement lawsuit - Successfully and favorably resolve hundreds of disputes, both during and prior to litigation, including multiple successful motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment in high profile matters with millions of dollars at stake- Proactively identify and address risks in a business-oriented manner; train and advise business teams, human resources, and other organizations on a variety of topics- As first lead attorney over all North America employment-related legal matters, provide daily counsel and advice to HR organization, executives, and the board on a variety of matters, including investigations, counseling, discipline, terminations, litigation, and regulatory and agency actions - Create, implement, and manage the company’s legal hold, data management, and record retention policies - Work with enterprise risk management team to proactively identify and resolve significant client disputes and other risks, resulting in significant savings to the company

Trial and arbitration victories include:- take-nothing bench verdict (affirmed by Delaware Supreme Court) in a high-profile dispute involving a cross-licensing agreement between leading telecommunications companies- significant arbitral award following a two-week arbitration for plaintiff IT outsourcing company seeking post-closing purchase price adjustment in a partial sale and joint venture of benefit administration business
