As a recent graduate of the University of New Haven's Cybersecurity and Networks program, I am excited to launch my career and am eager to take on new challenges.Thanks to my father’s passion for all things technology-related, I was exposed to the world of computers from an early age. At just 10 years old, I delved into programming by creating batch scripts for text-based adventure games and exploring game development in Visual Basic. By age 11, my curiosity led me to delve into the complexities of Minecraft, where I dabbled in hacked client development, leveraging Java to manipulate the game's mechanics and create custom overlays. This early experimentation with object-oriented programming sparked a profound interest in cybersecurity, further fueled by my endeavors to understand malware such as remote access trojans during my teenage years. These formative experiences not only cultivated my technical skills but also instilled a deep-seated passion for cybersecurity and a commitment to contributing meaningfully to the field.When selecting a university and undergraduate program, I was most drawn to the University of New Haven’s stellar reputation and NSA designation as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations. On top of balancing a rigorous course load and maintaining a 3.48 GPA, I earned multiple Dean’s List honors, was inducted into the Upsilon Pi Epsilon International Honor Society for the Computing and Information Disciplines, and received the NSA’s Cyber Operations Pathway Designation. In addition to my schooling, I acquired invaluable hands-on experience through internships with Bloom Media and E-Topia Technologies.
