As an Early Years Educator who works primarily with children aged 3-4, my philosophy is that at that age, learning must be fundamentally rooted in play. Mathematics, language, social-emotional, and other forms of learning can all be linked to fun and nurturing play-based activities. As teachers, it is important to both be consistent with your students, and also differentiate based on their abilities. I am dedicated to learning more about Early Childhood Education, as evidenced by the growth of my abilities and my commitment to earning more advanced teaching credentials. My strongest skills are building play-based activities, planning and managing my lessons, and giving strong emotional support to my students. I continue to work on my parent communication and team management skills.In the future, I hope to advance to a higher leadership position and one day open my own school. In the meantime, I work hard to be an asset to any team that I am embedded in.
