Established fall 2023, now one of the largest SMIF's in the United States, the Student Managed Investment Fund is a selective business program for high-performing Grand Canyon University students, allowing them to fully manage a portfolio with around $3.5 million in assets under management. Student analysts and sector heads research prospective companies and fixed income instruments for investment, by building financial models, drafting investment proposals, and pitching investment ideas during gatherings for fund approval.
