Knowledge and strong understanding in different areas of psychology as well as research practices in advanced statistics and research methods, including skills with R Studio, SPSS, and VBA coding in Excel.Across the 4 years of my undergraduate degree I have excelled in my studies and have earned Deans Honor's list each year, remaining eligible to graduate with distinction. I possess well developed listening skills and communication skills, and I am detail oriented with awareness of cultural, socio-economic, and religious norms and effects.I enjoy working in collaboration with others, as I have gained critical experience working with large research teams in various labs during my time at Queen's University. From this experience I have gained leadership experience, leading a subset of research teams in certain tasks related to cleaning, managing, and processing data. Further, I possess excellent organizational and time management skills, and I am very efficient when completing tasks and tend to learn quickly.I plan to continue my education and complete a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology.

I was also responsible for developing Python code and VBA code in excel to streamline the development of set lists for the study that was being developed. I also engaged in participant recruitment through an internal database which entailed calling and emailing participants. As this was a developmental lab, very attentive care was needed working with children and their caregivers during data collection.

Autism Spectrum Disorder Studies Lab

In this position I worked under Dr. Elizabeth Kelley in the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Studies Lab. In this role I was responsible for data collection, engaging with autistic youth and their caregivers. I was trained to administer the Wechsler Abbreviated Scale of Intelligence (2nd Edition; WASI-II) as this was used in the data collection process. This role was partially virtual as I met with participants on Zoom to administer the WASI-II as a part of our data collection. As well, I engaged in academic journal club meetings where clinical research was critically analyzed and discussed by our lab team. Further, I engaged in participant recruitment contacting both caregivers and establishing connections with organizations that could get us in contact with participants.
