I graduated from Millbrook High School in 2013, which I then also commenced my studies at the Wake Technical Community College North Campus location. I started my general education here while still trying to figure out the professional path I wanted to take and pursue. I've always enjoyed different forms of Art, from the priming of a canvas to the framing process for future preservations, or from the storyboard to the building of props and sets, to the final cut of a film, and even the factors that go into making a music piece tell the story its composer wants you to experience. I decided to join the Art program later on and graduated with an Associate's degree in Fine Arts - Visual Arts in 2017. I work on art commissions as self-employed when given the opportunity, though it's currently not my main source of income. My work as an artist could be found at various Starbucks locations and local businesses throughout the state of North Carolina from 2018-2021, including limited time menu items I created and visually designed for marketing throughout the district. I was also chosen as the winner of a design "competition" within the local Starbucks stores where my design was made into an enamel pin-which became small but meaningful tangible rewards for district and store managers to recognize each other with. Another example of a local commissioned piece of mine can be found at Medicine Mama's located in downtown Raleigh.I have 10+ years of experience in providing excellent customer service; carefully listening and understanding clients to provide exceptional designs, and communicating effectively to their needs, as well as creating safe and productive spaces with my fellow teammates. my overall experience includes management positions, certified positions in which critical thinking and problem solving were an everyday staple to my work, and data entry/organization of highly sensitive information. I am a fluent bilingual speaker (ENG/SPA) with a wide range of knowledge in different dialects, as well as ease of communication with hard of hearing individuals, whether it is through sign language, or any other form of communication. During the Covid-19 pandemic, I continued to work as an essential worker both at Starbucks (full-time) and Sherwin Williams (part-time) until I began my first traditional (office) job at First Citizen's Data Center as an Operations Specialist in the Loan Records department.I am currently working at Smith Debnam as an Account Maintenance Clerk, where my tasks include researching and providing sensitive data to our clients.
