I'm a vintage clothing enthusiast who loves to solve problems and make a difference, be it in my own home, at work or within my online shop i'm always looking for ways to improve and grow. I achieved a first class in my dissertation which was based around creating a successful sustainable business venture and I achieved a first in my business and events management degree.Possess strong problem solving, team-working and communication skills. Keen to pursue a career in team-based Business. Although I am flexible and open to other ventures. I believe any growth and connections made is a positive step-forward in my career.One thing that really motivates me is working on projects, for example releasing a new product, promoting a sale or writing a report. I thoroughly enjoy team orientated tasks with a defined start and end that works towards a bigger picture such as company growth. Throughout my degree I have learnt all the required skills for working within a business, including SPSS analysis, accounting, management and marketing theory and more. I'm now looking to apply all that I've learnt and if you’re still reading at this point, I would love to look at any opportunities you have available!As for work experience I have worked in retail for roughly 3 years prior to attending university, including working as a supervisor. Within these roles I discovered a passion for working as a team and learnt an array of management skills. However, I constantly found myself considering ways that the business could be run more effectively but I felt like a back-seat driver trying to tell the driver how to do their job. I was unqualified, now that I have a first in business management I want to get inside the business and go beyond the shop floor, into the inside workings of a company, where I can apply my skills and make a difference.Outside of work I love rock-climbing, I feel it helps with my problem solving as your constantly looking for new ways to improve and climb the route. This is mirrored in Hjorth and Johannisson, (2009) thinking of finding the gap and creating new ideas within business.
