CurrentThe Manager, Supply Chain Operations Nuclear controls and manages Non-Safety Related, Special Scope, Safety-Related and Commercial Grade parts, supplies, materials and services as required for safe, legal and efficient plant operations of the Callaway Energy Center (CEC) in accordance with the NRC, OQAM, and FSAR guidelines. The Manager also oversees the day-to-day operations of 20 employees. • Ensures technical and quality requirements for Safety-related and Special Scope procurements are clearly and properly specified and documented in accordance with procedures for preparation of procurement documents.• Ensures all inventory (115M value) meets the technical and quality requirements for a US Nuclear Facility. • Review and submit reports regarding materials to ensure compliance with current regulatory requirements, standards, technical specifications, quality requirements and specifications and state legislature as possible.• Direct and coordinate the Materials activities in accordance with agreements between the company and Local 1439 and Local 1455.• Supervises assigned personnel, including scheduling work assignments to ensure manpower allocations are adequate to meet plant operating conditions.• Responsible for imposing the technical and quality requirements of SR procurements by the Materials Engineering Group.• Establishes the technical competence required for positions, acquires personnel for these positions and evaluates their performance against the position requirements.• Sets, reinforces, communicates high standards; promotes teamwork and excellence; fosters good nuclear, radiological, human performance, and industrial safety behaviors; provides appropriate coaching to workers; implements performance improvement initiatives; actively participates in training and development of workers; develops and broadens the skills of workers; oversees on-the-job training.• Responsible for department goals & metrics to include O&M / Capital Spend.
