Senior student-athlete at Oral Roberts University majoring in Sports Management. In my time at ORU, I have done a variety of things for field experience, this includes working golf tournaments, football games at OU, ORU and TU basketball games. These have been essential for me to learn more about the industry and have taught me a great deal. I have been fortunate enough to have played on the baseball team at ORU since the fall of 2018, and being able to be on this team has truly been a blessing for me. It has taught me the importance of managing my time well because balancing a workload of school and athletics is difficult. I was voted one of the captains for the 2022 season, and this has taught me a lot about leadership both on and off the field. This spring, I am an intern with Wes Davis, the ORU pitching coach, making scouting reports using excel, analyzing video, inputting analytical data, and anything else that needs done around the office. It has showed me a little more about the "unseen" side of athletics and has got me excited to hopefully enter the field soon. Next school term, I will be starting my masters in Sports Management.
