Each day began with a time of worship and prayerLearned to prioritize time with God as a core value for life Some of the most life-changing moments happened during morning worship timesClass sessions provided a venue to explore one's faith in an interactive environment Sessions, taught by COR staff members, focus on leadership, biblical studies, and practical living and were coupled with group discussion and activities to reinforce conceptsBible study:Engaged in an eight-week Bible-reading plan designed to give a foundational look at what the Bible teaches Memorized verses, internalizing them and allowing God’s Word to abide Read relevant books designed to propel one toward their calling God has for themDug in every week and had an opportunity to process what was learned in a large group settingPractical discipleship: Guys and girls were placed in Crews, which focused on creating authentic relationships, providing a place to process what God is doing in one's life, and praying for one another.Church life: Deluge exists to prepare students for a life rooted in Christ and His Church. Had opportunities to work with COR’s children, youth, and young adult ministries to build a foundation of serving in the local church. This is a great avenue to use one's gifts and talents for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.Team time: Relaxed while developing relationships through sports, games, and other activities.
