As well as a clear understanding of the City Football methodology that I was able to deliver in the session plans given to me from my coaching coordinators and team.

I first joined Melbourne City from their Young Leaders program, and volunteer in community based programs for kids who often were unable to participate at club football. I would also volunteer on matchdays to help organise the matchday mascots and halftime heroes, I’d do this by using my safe guard training and past experiences of coaching and communicating to kids of those age groups.

I furthered my experience in hospitality and started to complete my cert III in hospitality while working at On It. I was used as both a back and front of house staff, being used as the person on grill, assembling burgers, or tills.

I worked as a merchandiser and stockroom control at various Coles stores across Victoria. I would travel to a different coles every shift, based on where I was needed. I would look after modules, seeing to their completion which required Manuel lifting skills. I used organisation skills to minimise the amount of storage required for the stock we were moving, and I also further developed my customer service skills working in front of customers on a day to day basis.

At JBS, I worked under strict time constrictions with a mass of staff in a high stress environment. I had to meet strict GMP requirements while working 10 hour shifts.

At Poked food handling and preparation was my core function, as was the cleaning and sanitation of work areas including utensils. I also worked Front of house, on tills developing customer services skills such as upselling.

I worked as a back of house staff completing food handing training and was able to work in various roles under strict timeframes. Training included understanding of GMP, prevention of cross-contamination, keeping cooked foods seperate from raw foods etc.I was generally rostered on at peak times due to my ability to work under pressure and follow both written and verbal instructions as directed to me by my supervisors.
