• Starting with designing through to the creating and then the fitting of structures, kitchens, tables, bars, art installations and more Vamp has brought me from early novice to budding carpenter. Working in this position has allowed me to gain knowledge in design software and how best to utilise it, a further understanding of tools and their maintenance and the ability to plan builds to allow best possible use of time and material.Duties:• Supporting the founding members of the company during builds and throughout the design process• Creating timetables for individuals within projects to allow for best possible timescale and outcome.• Preparation of materials. A lot of projects have certain requirements that might mean materials have to be painted, glued or have some kind of pre-condition to it. • Site tool evaluation. It often comes down to me to load the vehicles with all of the appropriate tools needed for a job. Looking over the plans for the job I decided what tools are needed, perform maintenance checks on each and make sure of charge for on site work.

As a Maintenance Operative I look after the general well being of the site and buildings on it. A Normal day will consist of taking a site wide walk through and assessing what needs fixing, changing or just keeping an eye on. With that information I will either use the tools and materials available or contact a contractor if the issue is too large for myself alone. A variety of trade skills are required throughout this role which requires a diverse and versatile operative.

Duties: • Collection of stock delivery up to five times a week. • Data entry of each item into company system. • Quality inspection of each individual item to ensure suitability within store.• Application of security hardware. • Price auditing. • Stock placement within warehouse and auctioning. • Inter branch transfers. • Fault and inspection send off. • General maintenance of stock room.

Duties:• Running full shifts for large and small teams of bartenders.• Watching over the entirety of the venue and making judgments on situations and then formulating potential solutions to them.• Rationalising scenarios to allow for preparation to the best possible degree as well as managing a team of staff through the day/night to ensure they along with the venue are working to their best possible ability. • These are my duties during the hours we are open beyond those hours my duties consist of the o Cashing Up procedureo Stock Receivalo Performing detailed checks throughout the building to complete the EHO checklist and keep the venue’s hygiene and general atmosphere at its best.

• Painting fittings, walls, floors or glass to creating a 6ft high wall of light boxes to have as a backdrop to the display manikins. Through working in this position I have learnt about different types of woods and their properties, a knowledge of different tools and their uses as well as basic maintenance of these tools. I have also become quite proficient with using various fixings and their capabilities Duties:• Providing support during builds, from the design process through to the creation of products used to display items and advertisements throughout the store. • Completing smaller builds on an independent basis such as display cases, light boxes and wall mounted advertisements. • Along with this there is large decorating element that goes with this role. • With each quarter being a completely new theme dependant on the season as well as current trend the store is always being changed up supplying ample opportunity to for variation in projects
