- Currently assisting retail operations with the closure of the remaining Grand and Toy retail locations -Worked cross-functionally with category managers and merchandisers across all categories to ensure the correct product assortment was being offered to our retail/B2B customers. •Used previous retail experience and knowledge of current trends to offer feedback and assist with category line reviews relating to the retail assortment•Physically set up products in a test environment to achieve the goals of the category manager. Consideration given, but not limited to, the location of private vs. national brands and whether we needed to increase margin or top line sales.•Created planograms from the physical set up using Spaceman software. Ensured the accuracy of all measurements of products, shelving, and fixtures. I also created merchandising notes that complimented the planograms to assist stores with setups to ensure all deadlines were met.•Used Spaceman software to create custom print layouts for the stores with sustainability in mind, only providing them with necessary information. •I uploaded all new and updated planograms to our Planogram page located on the retail SharePoint Site. I also communicated the updates along with time frames to be completed.•I took the lead with technology in retail, offering support to the technology business unit in the way of monitoring inventory as well as daily and weekly sales reporting. I also partnered with LP to source devices that would work with our retail fixtures. •Provided select retail staff with coaching/training on new technology products such as tablets, laptops and accessories in turn I received customer feedback and product suggestions. •Travelled across Canada as needed to help set up stores during major transitional phases. •Met with fixture vendors/suppliers to help discuss/design custom fixtures for specific product.
