I work as a full time career Firefighter in South Australia. I respond to a high volume of jobs per week.High levels of calls and a large variation of incidents, this has enabled me to build skills and knowledge in the emergency services field. That I can apply to a range of situations in the station and out on the road. This high level of exposure to different situations gives me the ability to bring a realistic and relevant approach to training onsite Emergency Service Teams of which I have a great enjoyment doing. I really enjoy training and developing response pre plans to onsite hazards and risks. Also I bring a professional, calm and methodical approach to incidents that occur on site. Working full time as a firefighter, volunteering for close to 10 years where I am one of the lieutenants within the brigade, in addition a few years as a MESO/ESO. This commitment to the emergency services sector has helped me develop confidence and the ability to perform under pressure during emergency situations. I have 9 years volunteering experience in the Country Fire Service here in South Australia. Also 2 years experience working casually as a MESO in production sites and mine sites.
