While working at The River Club, I was tasked with maintaining the appearance and function of the golf course. Day to day tasks rotated and consisted of changing pin locations, mowing greens, maintaining tee boxes, and more. This was a part time position as I am a full time student, but plan to return when my semester comes to an end.

During my time working with Terminus Roofing and Restoration, I operated as a Sales Specialist and Roof Inspector. This position came with an expansive list of requirements from doing cold call sales to managing contracts for the total replacement of roof systems through insurance. This position greatly aided the development of my skills in sales, giving me my first taste of the sales industry I hope to enter after completing my marketing degree and also allowed me to have my first job where I managed my schedule entirely on my own.

As a part of the TPC team, I represented the club at the main entrance by greeting members while loading their golf bags onto carts, cleaning and maintaining golf carts, and addressing member issuesOccasionally I also represented the club to guests of high importance, ensuring they receive proper care and hospitality. Other roles consisted of building strong relationships with members of the club who attended regularly and gaining experience in training new employees.

During my time at Target, I have worked in a variety of different roles and environments. I have gained experience unpackaging shipments and moving them onto the sales floor, but the majority of my time is spent in the front of the store dealing with customer-related tasks. I was taught to adapt to new circumstances at Target, each day working a new position whether it be as a cashier, self-checkout attendant, or customer service. I learned many valuable lessons from logistics to team leadership, but the most valuable lesson that retail teaches its workers is customer relations. The average workday sees many customer-related issues, which fall in the hands of front of store workers like myself. It is up to us to calm down angry customers and resolve the issues that they present us with which gives me a very competitive advantage over my peers, as I have learned how to deescalate situations and relate to people when they are having problems.

My time as an outside attendant typically consisted of maintaining the cleanliness of the golf club's driving range and golf carts. In addition to this responsibility, I was also tasked with greeting members at the bag drop-off area where I unloaded their bags, verified their tee times, and sent them on their way with any additional accommodations they desires. In my time at the club, I learned valuable lessons in establishing relations with members and solving any issues that popped up, ensuring a satisfying day out on the course.

With AMS Pools, I worked on the lifeguard stand surveying the pool and keeping watch over patrons while also managing the pool deck with its facilities and machines used to balance the chemicals and clean the pool. During my time as a lifeguard, I learned for the first time how to handle a position of leadership, understanding how to establish the necessary authority when needed and how to keep facilities operating smoothly and cleanly. By the end of my time as a lifeguard, I received a promotion opportunity to become a head guard but declined to look for a new experience.
