Worked as a Medical Plans and Operations Officer at a Division level command responsible for the medical operations across nine countries, supporting US troop populations. Coordinated the logistics movement of 1,400 pieces of medical equipment between two countries without degradation of equipment or personnel. Planned and executed medical operations in support of six multinational exercises in five different countries. Coordinated with local civilian and military health organizations in nine different countries to provide medical support for US troops stationed in the region.

I provide training support and operation planning for 12 medics, 4 supply personnel and 6 food service specialists. I advise Battalion command on medical condition of the unit and develop the health service support plan for when we are performing aviation operations. I track and report the overall medical readiness and deployability numbers for the Aviation Support Battalion of 550 soldiers.

I plan and conduct training for the 48 medics that I supervise and ensure they are up to date on their medical certifications. I plan all medical operations within the 1-194 Combat Arms Battalion consisting of 950 soldiers. This includes medical support for two mechanized infantry companies and two armor companies during any planned operations. I also ensure that our battalion stays in compliance with overall soldier readiness and can deploy with the maximum number of soldiers.

I plan daily production for a plant of 106 hourly employees across three shifts. I have 7 salaried direct reports that ensure production goals are met across their departments and the 3 shifts that we work. The plant has one Corrugator, four flexo folder gluers, three die cutters, one Bobst specialty printer, one Automatan Labelers and two folder gluers. I coordinate with customer service to develop the daily production plan and ensure on time delivery to customers. I work with sales, design, shipping and customer service to develop new items and structures for customers. I am responsible for setting production goals, managing continuous improvement projects, and controlling waste within the plant.

I am responsible for daily production within a department consisting of 6 printing, die cutting and folding/gluing machines and 25 employees. Manage customer orders through the plant and communicate with customer service about daily production capacity. Additional responsibilities include continuous improvement projects, setup reduction and waste reduction efforts to increase overall efficiency.

I documented and consulted on the different process within the factory and worked closely with the Plant Manager and Quality Manager. I created visual controls and scheduled a Total Preventative Maintenance program for 7 machine product lines. I also performed a Kaizen event on a bottleneck piece of equipment in one of the product lines and reduced the setup time by 40%. I did multiple warehousing organization and logistics projects.
