Results driven Information Security Specialist with an extensive background in Incident Response and Forensic Investigations. I got my start with Computer Programming which has helped me in my career with automating business processes in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness through SOAR products (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response).After completing 3 co-op terms in a department that was the bridge between business and security, I realized the importance of security being injected early on for new initiatives. Without security there is no trust with the customer.I moved onto the Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) responding to active security threats targeting the organization and taking appropriate action to mitigate and remediate the identified threats.Staying within CSIRT, I moved to the specialized Forensics and Investigations team where we conduct full scale Forensic Investigations, identifying root cause and impact of cyber incidents, as well as providing recommendations to mitigate the identified threat. Static and dynamic analysis of malicious artifacts to identify threat actor Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) as well as Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).Throughout all roles, automation plays a crucial role in improving business processes. I've initiated large scale initiatives to enable automated response capabilities against identified threats.
