About Jake Roberson

Outside of work, you're most likely to find me going down the rabbit hole with someone as we geek out about sports, pop culture, and Doritos — or engaged in a variety of competitive athletics with friends and family.I also get geeky about helping people and organizations break down silo mentalities in order to better unite all aspects of their digital ecosystem through meaningful content, storytelling, and interactions that are uniquely tailored for each medium and customer in order to generate ROI.Stories are my passion and my lifelong goal is to continually grow my understanding of what it means to both tell and listen to them well. My first love was telling stories via the written word however — not too long after an intoxicating first foray into blogging via MySpace (🥸) — my horizons expanded and led to a passion for creative storytelling, content marketing and development, and human experience in a variety of forms of new media. I believe that, in many important ways, the medium *is* the message. As such, one of my favorite things to do is to find unique ways to tell stories that fit well within the sandboxes of emerging digital mediums.I particularly enjoy working in the gray areas that form around the intersections of timeless ideals and modern experiences. If it's new, I want to make it feel familiar. If it's old, I want to make it feel fresh.
