I worked as an engineering co-op student in the integrity engineering department, where I worked on various projects. I worked smaller budget projects where I started the project from the beginning and managed it up until completion. During those projects I communicated with various third-party companies, other in-house departents, and both field managers and staff.I also carried out in-house project drawing reviews to ensure no new project caused failures or disruptions to the existing system.I was responsible for managing, re-structuring, or improving various databases within my group. Also, I created unique analytical charts for management for the purpose of tracking and coordinating group progress.

I worked as a Engineering Co-op student in an industrial engineer role. During my time I worked on the setup, start-up, and operation of a new CNC machine. This involved a great deal of problem solving as we learned how to operate the machine and optimize its manufacturing capabilities. Upon finishing the setup, I also developed a product configurator which ran in Microsoft Excel and used VBA code. This configurator used minimal input data to create a program in which the CNC machine used to manufacture various discrete parts. It also generated detailed design forms in which plant staff used to assemble the final product (which was previously done by hand).
