▪ Sunstate Equipment has a small IT presence, but with big integrations. My role as a Systems Operations Engineer II is to solve anything IT related. This gets pretty broad, from supporting multiple on-premise VMware and Nutanix clusters, maintaining Commvault backups, to implementing SSO through ADFS and Azure. ▪ Migrated on-premise Exchange to Exchange Online.▪ Rolled out Jamf Pro MDM for Apple products including EAP-TLS Certificate wifi authentication utilizing Azure app proxy to reach an on-premise SCEP server.▪ Implemented monthly patching for servers and desktops.▪ Migrated VM’s off VMware to Nutanix via Nutanix Move.▪ Created disaster recovery plans for on-premise workloads.▪ Maintained all aspects of on-premise domain, including AD, ADFS, DHCP, PKI, GPO, and Exchange.

▪ As Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer, I design, maintain and retire the infrastructure for 600 Azure virtual machines and associated resources, 300 VMware hosts, running 2500 virtual machines across 12 geographic locations across 5 VMware vCenter instances. ▪ Utilize a combination of Azure Monitor, VMware vRealize Operations and SolarWinds for troubleshooting performance and availability. ▪ Maintenance and capacity planning for on premise compute is Cisco UCS B-Series blades, HP C7000 series blade chassis, and Dell vBlock hyperconverged infrastructure. Storage is primarily Pure, with some legacy 3par and XtremIO arrays using Cisco SAN fabric switches.▪ Converted our disaster recovery datacenter into Azure utilizing Azure Site Recovery for replicating servers real time.▪ Consolidated infrastructure from acquired companies from multiple datacenters into our production datacenter or Azure, using Azure Migrate and Zerto, before decommissioning the datacenters.▪ Manage the backup infrastructure of Commvault and NetBackup, with auxiliary copies in Azure.▪ Remediate infosec vulnerabilities to maintain company security posture.▪ Scripting in PowerShell for automating and remediating repetitive tasks.

▪ Managed 8,000 Windows servers and 4000 VM’s across a large multi-domain, multi-forest, multi-datacenter environment, maintaining Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and all other domain responsibilities.▪ Increased virtualization of the datacenter from 40% to 50% from physical to virtual server migrations.▪ Performed routine maintenance, patching, security hardening and troubleshooting of both hardware and software.

▪ Maintained the IT Asset inventory with a specific focus on Networking assets within a very large organization.▪ Created the process for which audits were based upon, including gathering an accurate initial inventory and establishing guidelines for how audits would be graded▪ Designed new reporting procedures leading to a 60% reduction in the amount of time required▪ Streamlined processes using industry best practices to facilitate the flow of data between lines of business and the company asset system of record.

▪ Led the post-merger transition of IT asset management records from Countrywide to Bank of America systems.▪ Designed and implemented reporting procedures to provide to business units regarding IT assets and utilization.▪ Created cost center chargeback process to lines of business for their specific IT asset usage.▪ Improved processing time for report aggregations by 50%

▪ End user support for a building of 400+ employees, including on-site and remote tools for resolving issues.▪ Instrumental in the creation of the IT asset management department. ▪ Created an asset retirement process to maintain accurate depreciation disposal of IT assets.
