I recently completed my PhD in Political Theory at the University of Birmingham, researching populism and the nature of 'peoplehood' in political thought. I completed my viva on the 8th December 2022 with no corrections. During my PhD, I taught at the University of Birmingham for three and a half years, teaching a variety of modules including an introductory class to political theory, research methods and skills, postgraduate public management classes, and a wide spread of socio-political modules. I have also worked with think tanks to produce influential reports, authoring the Bow Group's 2020 report on Britain's food supplies, as well as assisting at the Henry Jackson Society in the production of a report into foreign-born Islamist extremists in the UK and the difficulty surrounding deportations. I currently work as a freelance consultant in public affairs and research, and am enjoying exploring work in this field.
