During my time at Advanced I was tasked with supporting financial software which was used by many businesses, all varying in size. Ensuring clear and consistent communication with customers and other parties (such as Development) was incredibly important as the software we provided was mission critical to our business customers.Key responsibilities included:- Provide high quality customer support for the in-house financial software.- Accurately logging, responding to, and updating incoming calls and cases as part of 1st and 2nd line support.- Accurate, detailed logging of raised incidents and related events we crucial to ensuring cases were solved in efficiently and effectively.- Manage my own workload, prioritising cases appropriately and ensuring all deadlines are met.- Communicate with development teams and raise JIRA’s to request appropriate additional work is performed on behalf of the customer.- Act as an intermediary between the customer and development should any meetings need to be arranged and attended.
