My experience includes over ten years as an athletic administrator, coach and official in an educational setting. I recently completed a Maryland Approved Program to add the teaching of business education to my skill set. In education, my job functions have included hiring and evaluation of all coaches and staff, management of all events, the development of a budget, the scheduling of staff, transportation, facilities and events and the interpretation and enforcement of all national, state, and local policies.I have been called on to be a site manager for State and District- level competitions in many sports which were essential in meeting the requirements that allowed me to become a Certified Athletic Administrator through the NIAAA. I have chaired the sports of wrestling and cross country and managed the league championships in the sport of cross country for five consecutive seasons.Through recent participation in a master's degree program, I have gained hands-on teaching experience in two separate classrooms and improved my abilities to teach all aspects of business education including management, leadership and the efficient use of technology.
