If you take a look at our family photo albums you will find my sister and I, side-by-side, dressed in our outfit for our school's annual "Career Day". In every single photo you will find me dressed as a Game Show Host with a huge smile on my face. I found my passion early on; games. From learning the alphabet by watching Wheel of Fortune with my Grandmother to planning my annual Survivor Backyard competition, the gears in my creative mind are constantly running as it plans the next big event.As I started to hone in on my unique talent, those in my community started to notice and reached out for assistance in planning events. I was sought after for community talent shows, planning school pep-rallies, and was getting paid to host birthday parties for family friends. All of this, coupled with the creation of Survivor Backyard (A two to three day Survivor competition held in northern Minnesota) provided me countless opportunities as I progressed through college and beyond.I immediately found a place on the Campus Activity Board where I worked my way up from general manger, to random activity chair, and then on to president. In the summer I became the MC and Director of the world famous Turtle Races in Longville, Minnesota. All while being heavily involved in the College of St. Scholastica Theatre.Upon graduating I knew it was time to run away and try something new. Although having never sailed, and had only visited the ocean a handful of times, I took a leap of faith and I accepted a six-month contract with Carnival Cruise Line as an Entertainment Host on board the Carnival Valor. I quickly moved through the ranks becoming a Senior Host and was selected to be on the inaugural team for the Carnival Horizon. By the end of my contract, I landed a spot in the head office as an Associate for Events and Activities where I have since been responsible for creating and improving our trivia, games, activities, and special events for the entire Carnival Fleet. In 2020 I helped found Majestic Circus. Specializing in virtual events, team building, and custom created game shows, my primary responsibility is coming up with experiences to meet the needs of clients in the resort, cruise ship, and hospitality industries.
