As a well seasoned Country Manager my role is to grow and manage the UK market.This has evolved in many ways over my tenure at Goboony. Starting with a very startup style hands on approach to growing the UK market from it's infancy. Delivering customer service, sales, marketing and content writing were part of my day to day. The Role has evolved significantly as the UK market and it's team have expanded. Currently my remit is more strategic and managerial. Leading the operational teams of the UK and delivering a vision for the future of the company in our market. The core of the role has consistently been to further growth an expansion in the hugely important Geo of the business.My role has also expanded to managing Goboony's team for France for a year whilst transitioning through a merger, as well as currently managing the UK team of our sister company Yescapa.My role here always keeps me on my toes and demands personal growth and a hunger for taking on challenges. Thinking big and dreaming bigger!

Following on from completing my CELTA from Cambridge course I took on a variety of students to tutor English. This involved creating custom lesson plans to suit the ability and preference of learning that my particular students had. For the most part I was teaching students who ranged in proficiency from A2 to B2, with some more advanced students too.I really enjoyed utilising my interest in Linguistics whilst tutoring and found the task of helping individuals improve their English, usually for professional reasons or to enhance their opportunities in the UK extremely rewarding.

My primary role entailed managing bookings with customers. This spanned all manner of bookings from private customers to trade account holders. Utilising my compassion for helping individuals and business accounts traverse the solent. I have developed on my keen interpersonal and customer facing skills, which have proven highly useful and earned me a reputation as a reliable and efficient employee. Other duties involved responding to customer queries via email and using Sprouts social to deal with social media relations for the company. Given the busy and somewhat unpredictable nature of maritime operations in the Solent. My adaptability and understanding approach to situations ensured a high level of customer satisfaction. I was originally taken on by Wightlink as a seasonal worker. However my performance has led to me being kept on as a permanent staff member and expanded the remit of my work to other administrative roles and some account management.
