Between working as a manager at a small business, to volunteering as a soccer coach, to hitchhiking across Central America, Jake has always tried to find a sense of balance. A wanderer at heart, in his youth he had a “have cleats, will travel” attitude, which took him from Vancouver Island to all over Western Europe. His sense of connectedness with different people has motivated him to continue to experience new cultures, and is seeking opportunities that would allow him to travel as part of his employment.Empathetic and aware of other people’s needs, Jake has always enjoyed working with others to solve problems. His ability to identify qualities in people, determine how different people can work together productively, and recognize the potential in others is a very useful skill he utilizes often. He is able to listen and communicate clearly and effectively, and interpret the needs of clients. Creating a network of happy clients has always been a priority to Jake, and has maintained good relationships throughout his business experience. Jake is a Business Graduate at SAIT Polytechnic. His passion for athletics has always been a driving force to succeed.Among other things, he enjoys learning about motorcycles, sprinting around the soccer pitch, and constantly meeting new people. His focus on the important aspects of life will only help him grow as a person and business professional.
