· Currently manage the chemistry department at large power generation facility, including running all aspects of the department, performing all duties as the chemistry subject matter expert, and having direct supervision over 5 chemical technicians.· Improved engagement of the department from 2.33 (1st percentile) to 4.29 (65th percentile) on the Gallup survey from fall of 2021 to spring of 2023. It’s one the highest Gallup scores of any leader of union employees’ company wide.· Have successfully managed chemical usage, overtime, and other department costs to keep the O&M spend under budget.· Recently led changes to the SNCR water treatment equipment that resulted in over $100K a year in O&M savings and eliminated the need for capital improvements that would have been over $200K in 2024 alone.· Driver of reliability improvements through modernization of lab equipment and instrumentation. New silica and sodium analyzers sitewide plus many more upgrades have been accomplished through capital projects.

· Gained masterly level knowledge of chemistry and operations over water treatment systems for cooling towers, potable water, boiler make-up water, boiler chemistry, air quality control systems, and wastewater treatment systems.· Developed and implemented chem tech schedule for the additional personnel needed for Iatan 2, worked with the union and the company to address all CBA related issues, was able to work out a schedule that all chem techs and management were happy with. The schedule covered 4 full time jobs with 18 chem techs working permanent 8-hour shifts with great results.· Developed a new chem tech training program to cover all the changes and additions to Iatan 1 as well as everything for Iatan 2. Successfully used training program to personally train chemical technician.

· Worked under cGMP to test pharmaceutical products.· Completed lab reports and QC documentation for the release of pharmaceutical products for use and sale.
