Power pole and line design

Repair interior and exterior walls, remove and remount electrical fixtures, manage jobs, painting, communicate with general contractors, travel the world restoring church buildings.

I participated in a senior design project through UCCS, working with WCM Industries located in Colorado Springs. The project lasted for nine months while I worked with a team of three other students to solve a real problem. The project entailed;• Analyzing an assembly line process for rooftop supports• Generating a problem specification to improve the assembly process• Designing a station that used a pneumatic arm and wrench to automate the process• Time reduction of more than 50% was achieved• Implementation of the prototype will be in place by the end of the year• The design process and procedure were documented and a report was generated
