Another part of my daily routine is the management of… Show more My responsibilites while working as a Security Guard at Sizewell A are to monitor the CCTV monitors, complete physical checks of the security fencing, patrol the site perimiter and remote locations on a 24 hour basis.I deal with visitors to site searching them and any items they want to bring onto site and have with them and also checking deliveries to site, including searching, with access and egress control to the stores area. Another part of my daily routine is the management of restricted keys on site to areas which require permission to enter or risk assessments to be completed before entry. Alarm checks along with responding to alarms is a vital part of my job and following them up with other members of site checking if the alarm is genuine, spurious or due to work being carried out.My responsibilities while working as a Control Room Operator at Sizewell A involves accepting site alarms, understanding the alarms and understanding the work being undertaken on site, taking standard and emergency phone calls and dealing with them appropriately. I also have to adapt daily to the changing work and site issues to how it will affect other work on site. Show less
