Growing up I was unsure what career I wanted to pursue, but I knew that whatever I did I wanted to help people and make them feel better, whether it was physically, mentally, or emotionally. I bounced around from wanting to be a firefighter, to a veterinarian, and then to a dentist. In high school I attended a medical mission trip to Chiapas, Mexico to shadow a healthcare team that was providing free medical clinics and surgeries to those in need. On this trip my whole perspective on the world was changed and I knew that I wanted to go into the medical field. This trip opened my eyes to how blessed I was to have the time, money, intelligence, and motivation to help others and decided that it was my calling to pursue nursing. I am now in my 6th, and final, semester of nursing school and am extremely excited to begin making a difference in the world of healthcare! In my free time I love hiking, exercising, spending time with my family, and getting closer to God. As an RN I aim to shower my patients with comfortability and my warm personality and to incorporate Christian care using the hands and knowledge God blessed me with to nurse those in need back to good health.
