As Vice President responsible for the St. Louis operation of Modis, I successfully managed the St. Louis operations and a number of national accounts. Success with national accounts required skillful management of personnel in Modis offices throughout the US. While managing the St. Louis operations, was responsible for establishing, setting and executing processes in recruiting, sales and operations. I was responsible for employee hiring, development, training, motivation and career advancement for all administrative, recruiting and sales staff in St. Louis.

As a Managing Director, I managed the day-to-day operations of the St. Louis office of Modis. Grew the branch revenue by aggressively acquiring new clients, creating innovative consultant retention programs, and growing opportunities with existing clients. Responsibilities included P&L, budgeting, employee development, retention, sales, recruiting and administration. Directed the back office integration of the St. Louis operations into Modis operations.

Started Data Management Consultants, Inc. (DMCI) to provide custom application development and IT services to St. Louis based companies. Due to our solid performance providing value to our clients, DMCI was included 4 times in the St. Louis Fast 50 growing companies. In 1999, DMCI was acquired by Modis, Inc., a national IT staffing company operating as a division of the MPS Group. MPS was acquired by Adecco in 2010.

Worked as a software developer and IT consultant for a number of IT consulting companies in variety of roles (programmer, analyst, team leader and project manager) in many industries (manufacturing, telecommunication, banking & finance, health care and service industries). Started as a programmer/analyst for a major telephone company working on mission critical applications. Overtime worked on many other platforms and environments such as distributed systems, Client/Server and Internet based systems. Continued as a team leader and a project manager supporting various Fortune 500 and mid market companies in the St. Louis area.
