After graduating from UCLA with a degree in mechanical engineering, I needed some time to recharge and explore. It had always been a dream of mine to live and work in a mountain town, and I ended up moving to Jackson Hole, WY, in the winter of 2021. I've spent three winters and summers in Jackson as a snowboard instructor at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and a river rafting guide on the Snake River with Dave Hansen Whitewater. All together, these past three years in the outdoor industry have been the best experience of my life.Still in pursuit of more adventures in the mountains, I have decided to move to Anchorage, Alaska this upcoming winter. Feeling refreshed and recharged from my time as a seasonal worker though, I am now searching for an opportunity to work as an engineer. I am looking for a full-time, on-site position within Anchorage. Whether the work involves civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering related work, I am open to any and all opportunities, under one condition - purpose. I'm searching for a position where I know the work I am doing is genuinely improving the community in which I live, helping people in need, or bettering the planet. I'm motivated to leave this world better than I found it, and I want a job that will allow me to achieve that goal.
