About Jake Arrington

IT generalist with several years of experience providing customer and technical support for end users.Experience with MacOS, Windows, and Linux based systems. Experience with mobile devices and mobile operating systems.My technical journey sparked from passion at a young age to understand the underlying components of necessary computing hardware. In my youth, I channeled this curiosity through early Android development and configuration. Once I developed my mobile device knowledge and understanding, I moved to begin studying desktop operating systems. Through Virtualization, I was able to safely configure environments of macOS, and several different Linux based Operating Systems I utilized these virtual machines as a workspace to begin understanding the complexities of desktop and server operating systems.Through my years of education to accomplish my Bachelor's, I found an opportunity at my university's Computer Help Desk to begin working part time as I completed my degree. Here is where I was truly able to utilize all the knowledge that I had gathered through my previous experience and course work to offer incredible customer service, both during client facing encounters, as well during isolated work periods to solve complex technical issues.
