This was a voluntary position on the committee of a Ramblers-affiliated walking group.I was responsible for the maintenance on on-going development of the group's web site. During my time as web officer I introduced the following features to the web site:-* The ability to submit walks and social events to be published by committee members.* A membership database to control access to member-only elements of the web site.* Management of news items to display on the front page.* A basic CMS to make it simpler for all committee members to update the site content.Since October 2018, I have taken up this role again to support the web site which is now run by the Joomla CMS software.
