Since rejoining Syzygy I have built flash websites, banner campaigns, video players & micro-sites for Mazda, HSBC, Allianz, DeBeers, ASOS and Frijj. These projects include Flash integrated with Facebook for ASOS, Papervision 3D for HSBC, Augmented Reality with object recognition for Frijj and Flash integrated with Twitter for the Syzygy Christmas Card 2009. The banner campaigns were served through Eyeblaster and FlashTalking.

On and off freelance projects.

I have been working on and off for Six and Co and Fullsix over the course of 2007 on a variety of projects/clients, including Oil of Olay, Max Factor, and Aussie. This has included building HTML newsletters, updating HTML pages, a flash competition and a number of flash banner ads.

Whilst at Syzygy I worked on HTML newsletters, video banner ads, Flash micro-sites and HTML site interfaces, projects I worked on at Syzygy include:-Airmiles, Daimler Chrysler, Smart cars, Shell Drive, London 2012 Olympic Bid, and Mazda.

Cap Gemini contracted me for 6 months to help redesign and build parts of their intranet. The original site was rather old, sprawling and lacked any semblance of uniformity. I concentrated on improving usability through colour coding, judicious use of type and a set of clear, constant templates. I also made use of Javascript on text heavy pages to hide and show content and make the site more intuitive and user friendly.

Globebyte contracted me to build a Flash application, which would demo a new piece of software called FoneSync. Due to the success of this project they kept me on to build a DHTML interface for WaveCast a web TV concept unveiled at the Millia show in Cannes.

Jackson Earle are a print based design agency, they contracted me to build a number of websites they had designed, most notably one for The Royal Society, I built 2 HTML and 2 Flash sites whilst there.

Worked on the SAAB site and the original TESCO home-shopping site before switching to Microsoft (www.microsoft.com/uk/). I led a team of 4 people keeping the Microsoft site up to date. This included organising the weekly refresh, liasing with the account handlers and the client when needed and understanding Microsoft’s internal propping procedures. After this I was put in charge of two more sites Medical Sickness (www.medical-sickness.co.uk) and Wesleyan (www.wesleyan.co.uk). This involved updating to a SQL database. For this I learnt to use Microsoft Management Console and Access Database.
