About Jake Kim

Originally from Seoul, South Korea, I joined Cate in 2024 as the Alumni Director. I have experience in leading full project life cycles across education, fundraising, and event planning. I hold a degree in Mathematics and Economics from Emory University. I'm well-acquainted with boarding schools, having attended Fay School in Southborough, MA, from the age of 12 and later graduating from St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH. After fulfilling my military requirement in Korea as an Armored Vehicle Driver, I returned to the U.S. to work in the advancement office and serve as a dorm parent at Fay School.I thrive on opportunities that demand creative thinking and the leveraging of the diverse relationships I've cultivated over the years. With a unique entrepreneurial approach to all my endeavors, I embrace the challenges of uncertainty, viewing them as opportunities for innovation and growth. Ensuring projects are completed on time and commitments are met is fundamental to me.
