At Rockwell Collins, I help supervise a team of meteorologists on the overnight shift. I assign shift duties, mange workflow, solve complex problems, promote a positive work environment and ensure all work has gone through an extensive quality control process. I use multiple weather model data sets to provide written and verbal forecasts for pilots ranging from a hour to a week. I utilize extensive knowledge of international and domestic navigation rules, permits requirements and meteorology to provide safe and efficient flight plans for private, commercial and government clients. I create graphical weather charts for locations around the world.
