As sales hire #1 for the company, I've gotten to watch and take part in the exciting growth our firm has experienced from the beginning. We continue to build best-in-class tools and services to support all property owners from the individual homeowner up to institutional operators. My priorities as of late have been focused on continuing to provide a great experience to our key accounts and in developing new relationships with large insitutional operators whom we can drive additional value and tax bill savings.

As my first internship and my first time not working on a soccer field or in a restaurant, this internship opened my eyes to the professional setting of an office-based career. I sat in with the sales team and learned about how meetings should be run, how to follow a code of conduct in terms of professional dress, and even how to create new value for the company as an intern. Being young and with limited video experience through school, I helped establish an online marketing strategy, I created content and formalized campaigns to promote new sales and leads. Towards the end of my high school career, I joined on with Outback as a second job in combination with Liliana's. As a lesson in financial management, my parents taught me how to make money and how to budget by making me use my own funds for purchasing a car, having fun with friends and other fun money I might want to have. As a franchise, Outback showed me what quality leadership, sound systems and processes, and proper operational management looked like. I learned from waiters with strong sales experience and skill sets how to be timely and personal with customers. Direct Responsibilities- Aided in nightly kitchen prep for food, dishes, and inventory- Assisted coworkers in delivering an overall memorable experience at our restaurant- Watched over the sanitation of the front-end of the house throughout the night

Joining Liliana's further developed many of the soft skills I had begun to develop within RI Quahog. A major difference was the standard of service and quality of experience at Liliana's. As a busboy here, I was one of two for the entire restaurant, I oversaw the delivery of meals to the attached hotel upon request and learned on-the-floor communications as well as a higher level of customer service. I also served as the only waiter in the restaurant on weekend mornings serving the hotel's guests as they came in for breakfast. Managing all elements of the restaurant with no one else but the cook in sight taught me independence and accountability for any mistakes. Direct Responsibilities- Took orders during the breakfast shift and strived to create a consistently enjoyable atmosphere- Delivered meals to rooms and processed payments for hotel guest's upon request - Prepped, staffed, and disassembled guest banquets of 50-150 people on a weekly basis

As the longest held job of my career, refereeing soccer helped establish my leadership skills by teaching me how be confident in my decisions, to manage people, to face confrontation and issues whether a parent, coach or player head on, and simply how to be responsible over a direct project. Direct Responsibilities- Officiated recreational, competitive, and club soccer games ranging from u-8 to u-18 - Checked in teams for proper equipment and regulations - Tracked time and scores and distributed penalties as fit- Maintained overall structure and control of the game

As my first real job, the RI Quahog Co. provided me an opportunity to begin learning essential soft skills. While I learned many technical skills within the restaurant industries, the soft skills I developed around customer interactions, time management, and communications with your employer really helped my ability to be hired later on at other restaurant related opportunities. Direct Responsibilities - Set up banquet events for groups of 50-100 people- Cleared, cleaned, and reorganized tables for new parties- Stocked back of the house for nightly preparation
